Hohenzollern is one the most impressive castles that we saw. The castle is located in Baden-Wurtemberg about 60 km south of Stuttgart.

In the summer of 2015, we spent our holiday in the north. Our son had a softball camp in Denmark that year, so we gave him a lift and combined it with our holiday. We visited the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, and stayed two nights at a hotel in Kolding in the western part of Denmark. We stayed in Denmark only as long as necessary, and as usual for me, I planned most of our holiday in Germany :). Read More...

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a small town in the middle of Germany. I think nowhere else in Europe can you find such a number of original buildings dating from the middle ages.
We did a stopover on our way from the Alps. Rothenburg is a few kilometers from highway number 7 leading from the south border of Germany to the north. We knew that Rothenburg is a romantic city, but what we saw surpassed our expectations. Read More...

Every year, our son has tennis training camp in North Bohemia, in Raspanava close to the border. The camp always starts on Sunday at noon. We took him there and had the whole afternoon free. This is ideal for a short trip, and twenty km from the border is Gorlitz. Read More...
